I completed my last project of the year last night! Dobby Socks! I know they are not the same as the pattern going around with the broomsticks and snitches but they are different color socks just like Dobby would love to wear! Tomorrow, I will post my knitting and crochet goals for the 2008 year.
A place to discuss my addiction with learning crafty things. I tend to be a Jackette of crafts with a bit of knitting, quilting, weaving, homemade items and any other crafty thing that sparks my interest.

Another year gone
It's amazing that another year has come and gone. I would have to say that 2007 has been very good for me. I have graduated from law school, passed the bar and found a job as an attorney. I have also learned to knit. I taught myself to knit last December but took a break from knitting Spring of this year to knit a wedding blanket for my bf from law school. I began again in May with a HP scarf but had to pretty much stop knitting during the summer to study for the bar exam.
In August, I joined Do something new KAL. This kal motivated me to finish a project a month and so far I have not finished a month. I love it. I always try something new and finish it with in the month so thus since August I have finished four projects- baby booties, a lace scarf, a clapotis -and I am almost finished with my Decemeber project.
Unfortunately my crocheting has taken a hit. I did finish the blanket for my bf's wedding but it's the only crochet project I have finished this year. I still have three other crochet blankets on the hooks.... a ripple lapghan, a granny sqaure blanket for my son and an Afghan of the sandman blanket.
I will finish all these blankets in the new year and many many more. Happy crafting!!!
